WALT use ITC skills to publish our writing.
· To write our poems we learned about
adjectives (describing words) and how to use them to describe ourselves in our
acrostic poems.
· We had to describe our appearance,
favourite things, likes/dislikes, nick-names, etc.
· To publish on the computer we opened a
Word doc. and inserted text boxes – horizontal for our name and smaller
vertical text boxes for the lines of our poems.
Mrs Anderson inserted our photos.
· We chose fonts and changed the size and
colour of the font to suit.
· We went to drawing tools to add ‘no fill’
to lines and boxes, so the picture can be seen clearly behind the text.
